Ever wonder what happens to all that wood/debris that we remove from job sites? Our goal is to try and reuse as much of it as we can! The hardwoods are sent through our firewood processor and sold in half and full cords for delivery, small and large stacks for pick up. Recently, we have started partnerships with Full Circle Woodworx and Lucky Nelson’s Slabs and Wood Products. Paul delivers larger wood pieces and John, from Full Circle, mills them into live edge slabs. Jeff, from Lucky Nelson’s, comes to our site to mill and plane the smaller pieces of wood. The slabs are then planed and kiln dried so that we can sell them to be made into table tops, shelves, coffee tables, etc. The possibilities are endless!

Mikaela, Paul’s oldest daughter, works with Tree Awareness in the summer months. Here is an Instagram post journaling the the end of a Cedar tree she helped take down to the beginning of its new life as book shelves with the help of Full Circle Woodworx, her husband Matt and some good old fashion hard work!

~ Fall 2021- Dad hires a guy to come to the shop and mill some cedar wood.
~ Summer 2021- milled wood dries
~ Fall 2021- milled wood dries
~ Winter 2021/2022- Matt & Mikaela planes wood, measures the space, cuts and dry fits live edge shelves... Mikaela sands, stains and polyurethanes. Matt fully installs.
~Spring-ish 2022- shelves are fully stocked!
